CALENDAR CONFLICT SHIELD

Google Calendar conflict protection for tour operators

HQcell can protect availability against commitments on selected Google Calendars. When the Owner enables and connects the optional Calendar Conflict Shield, external busy events become clear internal availability holds before a customer sees a conflicting slot.

How the workflow stays connected

The Conflict Shield is inbound availability protection, not a duplicate calendar or automatic outbound booking feed. Owners select the calendars to read, see limited conflict information, and can pause sync in one tap without disconnecting if an external calendar needs correction. Google Calendar setup, verification, and ongoing watch/reconciliation jobs are required before this optional feature is activated.

1

Set the availability, capacity, waiver, payment, or communication rule that applies to the activity.

2

See the work in a Cell

Keep the relevant state close to the next departure instead of looking across separate systems.

3

Act with context

Open the related booking, guest, calendar, message, or setup workflow without losing the operational picture.

Questions operators ask

Does this feature use live operational data?

When the related provider and internal setup are configured, HQcell loads tenant-scoped operational data. Otherwise, it shows a clear setup or empty state.

Can I hide this feature from the dashboard?

Yes. The owner can remove the related Cell from a personal layout and add it again later.
